Cool down. Slow down. Sip something special.
We didn't always think of iced tea as something luxurious. That changed the moment we brewed our Green Apple blend over ice for the first time. The crisp, fruity notes hit differently when they're cold, and suddenly a lazy afternoon felt like something worth celebrating.
This recipe is stupidly simple, endlessly refreshing, and just the thing to serve when someone comes over and you want to impress without trying too hard. You're welcome.
What You'll Need
2 tsp The Chameleon Collective Green Apple blend
300ml boiling water
1 tbsp honey (or to taste)
A generous handful of ice
A few slices of fresh green apple, to serve
Fresh mint, optional but highly encouraged
Here's What To Do
Steep your tea in the boiling water for 4–5 minutes — don't rush it, the flavour needs time to bloom. Remove the leaves, stir in the honey while it's still warm, then let it cool to room temperature.
Once cooled, pour over a tall glass packed with ice. Garnish with your green apple slices and a sprig of mint, and you're done.
That's it. Seriously.
A Few Notes from Us
The honey is key — it rounds out the tartness of the green apple beautifully without overpowering it. If you're making a big batch for a gathering, brew double the amount and refrigerate overnight. It gets even better as the flavours settle.
Not a Green Apple person? Our Orange Chocolate blend makes for an unexpectedly indulgent iced tea too — think dessert in a glass.
